dc.description	The article analyses the expansion of the Achaean koinon during the midthird century BC and its crisis during the Cleomenean War. The notion of social space is considered a key to understand the territorial arrangements of thefederal Hellenistic states, which bonded them to personalized networks relating polis, koinon and kingdoms during that period. In this way, diff erent alignments of the polis may be comprehended in terms of a common spatiality, which highlights the traj ectory of certain brokers placed between different interaction fields.	en-US
dc.description	El artículo analiza la expansión del koinon aqueo a mediados del siglo III a.C. y su crisis durante la guerra de Cleómenes. Se sostiene que la noción de espacialidad social brinda una clave explicativa para comprender los arreglos territoriales de estados federales helenísticos vinculándolos a los entramados personalizados que regían las relaciones entre polis, koinon y grandes reinos durante ese período. De esta manera, los diferentes alineamientos de las polis pueden ser comprendidos a partir de una espacialidad común, que resalta la trayectoria de ciertos mediadores situados entre distintos campos de interacción.	es-ES
