dc.description	Fifty years ago, at the time of the coup d'état, the University of Chile was creating and developing an innovative and pioneering university model, centered on a balance between research and professional training, and supported by a co-governance of academics, students and non-academic staff. Its implementation by the Department of Psychology evidences the promising sustainability, efficiency and effectiveness of this model. The objective of this essay is to offer a brief and limited analytical and testimonial evaluation of the essential aspects of this new university model, based on the relative share of participation and protagonist experience of the author in the process of creation and development of the Department of Psychology, and the implementation of this innovative university model within the framework of the so-called "Project 68".	en-US
dc.description	Hace cincuenta años, al momento del golpe militar de 1973, la Universidad de Chile se encontraba creando y desarrollando un novedoso y pionero modelo de universidad, centrado en un balance entre investigación y formación profesional, y sustentado en un cogobierno de académicos, estudiantes y funcionarios no académicos. Su implementación por parte del Departamento de Psicología evidencia la promisoria sustentabilidad, eficiencia y eficacia de este modelo. Este ensayo tiene por objetivo ofrecer una breve y acotada evaluación analítica y testimonial de los aspectos esenciales de este nuevo modelo de universidad, sobre la base de la relativa cuota de participación y experiencia protagónica del autor en el proceso de creación y desarrollo del Departamento de Psicología, y de la implementación de este novedoso modelo de universidad en el marco del llamado “Proyecto 68”.	es-ES
