| dc.description | What happens when we mediate the voice after it is emitted? Taking as a starting point the amplification of the voice on stage as a phenomenon in recent Chilean theatre, its consideration as a process and as a transfer towards media is proposed. This analysis seeks to move the centre of vocal performativity outside the logic of traditional dramaturgical language that privileges the understanding of the text over the vocal event. Thus, a dialogue is presented between some of the main practical and philosophical currents of vocal studies, which intersects with the analysis of vocality from a posthumanist perspective, to understand the voice as an interstice, and allow it to be relocated as a performative and processual element that permeates space and other bodies. | en-US |
| dc.description | ¿Qué ocurre cuando mediamos la voz después de ser emitida? Tomando como punto de partida la amplificación de la voz en
escena como fenómeno en el teatro chileno reciente, se propone su consideración como proceso y como traspaso hacia lo medial.
En este análisis se busca desplazar el centro de la performatividad vocal fuera de las lógicas del lenguaje dramatúrgico tradicional que
privilegia el entendimiento del texto por encima del acontecimiento de lo vocal. Así, se presenta un diálogo entre algunas de las principales corrientes prácticas y filosóficas de los estudios vocales, que se entrecruza con el análisis de la vocalidad desde una perspectiva posthumanista, para entender la voz como un intersticio, y permitir relocalizarla como un elemento performativo y procesual que permea el espacio y a otros cuerpos. | es-ES |
