| dc.description | This paper aims to analyse the main elements of the bill on State Universities in Chile, emphasizing the Strength ideas that fortify and support this initiative, such as the improvement of quality, the new systematic vision that the government intends to give to their universities, also Strengthening their pluralism, relevance and effectiveness. On the other hand, a critical view on the PLUE is presented, making a judgment on different aspects that still have to be developed; Among these it is pointed out that there is still a commercial and non-social vision on the subject, besides the autonomy of each state university is constrained by forcing them to generate an even more competitive and individualistic academic environment. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo pretende analizar los elementos principales del Proyecto de Ley sobre las Universidades del Estado en Chile, enfatizando en las ideas fuerza que fortifican y cimientan esta iniciativa, tales como el mejoramiento de la calidad, la nueva visión sistemática que el gobierno pretende dar a las instituciones, reforzando su pluralismo, pertinencia y eficacia. Por otro lado, se expone una visión crítica sobre el PLUE realizando un enjuiciamiento a diferentes aspectos que aún deben ser desarrollados; entre estos se señala que aún existe una visión comercial y no social sobre el tema y que se limita la autonomía de cada universidad estatal obligándolas a generar un clima académico aún más competitivo e individualista. | es-ES |
