dc.descriptionWe analyze the youth representations constructed by the narration of Actores secundarios, a film about the experience of the high school students’ movement that fought against Pinochet in Chile during the 1980s, and the subsequent evolution of its members and society. Methodologically, the analysis proceeds to the genealogical reconstruction of a youth mediatized by cinematographic representation, considering the conditions of possibility that such discourse had at the time of its production. Problematizing power relations and disputes over memory and equality, of which the film’s narrative participates in the sociohistorical context of the transition to democracy, the analysis concludes that: the film recounts a chapter of the country’s recent collective history, rescuing the voices of a generation marked in its youth by violence and political exclusion. It also warns of the heterotopic character of the film and its performative effects on the political subjectivation of new generations of high school students, indicating some theoretical consequences for the social sciences.en-US
dc.descriptionSe analizan las representaciones juveniles que construye la narrativa de Actores secundarios, película sobre la experiencia del movimiento de estudiantes secundarios que luchara contra Pinochet en Chile durante la década de 1980, y que también considera el posterior devenir de sus integrantes y de la sociedad. Metodológicamente, el análisis procede a la reconstrucción genealógica de una juventud mediatizada por la representación cinematográfica, considerando las condiciones de posibilidad que tal discurso tuvo al momento de producirse. Problematizando las relaciones de poder y las disputas por la memoria y la igualdad, de las que la narrativa de la película participa en el contexto sociohistórico de la transición a la democracia, el análisis concluye que: la película relata un capítulo de la historia colectiva reciente del país, rescatando las voces de una generación marcada en su juventud por la violencia y la exclusión política. Además, advierte el carácter heterotópico de la película y sus efectos performativos en la subjetivación política de nuevas generaciones de estudiantes secundarios, indicando algunas consecuencias teóricas que esto acarrearía para las ciencias sociales.es-ES
