Based on a critic of the type of renewal of "republicanism" that represents Frank Michelman, he develops a procedural concept of deliberative politics. He affirms that the crucial difference between the two approaches is the understanding of the role of the democratic process. Then explores the consequences of both approaches to the concepts of citizenship and law, noting that they represent a deeper disagreement about the nature of the political process. | en-US |

Partiendo de una crítica al tipo de renovación del “republicanismo” que representa Frank Michelman, desarrolla un concepto procedimental de política deliberativa. Afirma el autor que la diferencia decisiva entre las dos concepciones consiste en la comprensión del papel del proceso democrático. Explora luego las consecuencias de ambos enfoque para los conceptos de ciudadano y de derecho, señalando que representan un desacuerdo más profundo respecto de la naturaleza del proceso político. | es-ES |
