In this paper is proposed a conceptual link between ethics and politics, and at the same time it not only takes democracy as a political system, but also as a value system. From this position denounces behind the facade of democratic constitutionalism, the true intentions of authoritarianism, injustice and discrimination that have characterized the political, economic and social development of Latin America. Additionally, from the ethical and political connection in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, briefly reviews the theories of End of History and Civilizations War, of Fukuyama and Huntington, respectively, to conclude with proposals, leading to a search for the construction of a New Planetary Social Contract.en-US
