dc.descriptionThe article meditates on how knowledge and social practices are related, and on the “what for” of purpose one wishes to know. It undertañes the subject of transdisciplinarity, identifying in day to day activity the strategies which can help that new generations can live along with their ideas, without being destroyed by them. On that purpose, the Law of Communitary Services for University Students in Venezuela  is analyzed as an exploration of the spaces oriented to encourage intercultural and transdisciplinary learning. The analysis ends stating that in order to make a contribution on changing the socio-institutional structures towards endogenous development, this law should affect the capacity of some IES –called as those of “social capital” to articulate with other Public Administration actions, also oriented to this political intentionality, in nowaday Venezuela, of generating social inclussion under the figure of a public action known as “The Missions”.en-US
dc.descriptionEl artículo reflexiona sobre cómo se relaciona el conocimiento con las prácticas sociales, y con el “para qué” se desea conocer. Aborda el tema de la transdisciplinariedad, identificando en el quehacer del día a día estrategias que puedan contribuir a que las nuevas generaciones aprendan a convivir con sus ideas, sin ser destruidos por ellas. Con tal propósito se analiza la Ley de Servicios Comunitarios de Estudiantes Universitarios de Venezuela –LSCEES– como una exploración de los espacios orientados a fomentar el aprendizaje intercultural y transdisciplinario. Concluye el análisis señalando que para contribuir a la transformación de las estructuras socio-institucionales en la dirección del desarrollo endógeno, esta ley deberá afectar la capacidad de algunas de las IES –denominadas de “capital social”- de articularse con el conjunto de acciones de la Administración Pública, que se orientan hacia esta intencionalidad política, en la Venezuela actual, de generar la inclusión social bajo una figura de acción pública llamada “las Misiones”.es-ES
