dc.descriptionThe concept of development has different aspects and is associated with different social, economic and environmental dimensions, such as culture. The objective of this article is to verify the relationship between culture and local development in the municipality of Ijuí/RS-BR and its influences, both social and economic. This research is characterized as descriptive, qualitative and field study, in which an interview was carried out with Jonas Sala, president of the União das Etnias de Ijuí (Union of Ethnicities of Ijuí). It was realized that culture interfered in the past in the way the municipality developed and continues to reflect today, ranging from the development of social projects to historical preservation.en-US
dc.descriptionEl concepto de desarrollo tiene diferentes vertientes y está asociado a diferentes dimensiones sociales, económicas y ambientales, como la cultura. El objetivo de este artículo es verificar la relación entre cultura y desarrollo local en el municipio de Ijuí/RSBR y sus influencias, tanto sociales como económicas. Esta investigación se caracteriza por ser un estudio descriptivo, cualitativo y de campo, en el que se realizó una entrevista a Jonas Sala, presidente de la União das Etnias de Ijuí. Se percibió que la cultura interfirió en el pasado en la forma en que el municipio se desarrolló y continúa reflejando hoy, que van desde el desarrollo de proyectos sociales hasta la preservación histórica.es-ES
