dc.description	A partir del cierre de Huachipato se ha generado una interesante discusión sobre el fortalecimiento industrial de la región. A nuestro juicio debiéramos hablar de reconversión industrial toda vez que el fin del modelo de Industrialización Sustitutiva de Importaciones (ISI), a mediados de la década de los años setenta, puso término de manera paulatina, a un tipo de industria orientada al mercado interno y estructurada en cadenas de montaje que ha sido denominada de “producción fordista”.	es-ES
