In this paper is proposed a conceptual link between ethics and politics, and at the same time it not only takes democracy as a political system, but also as a value system. From this position denounces behind the facade of democratic constitutionalism, the true intentions of authoritarianism, injustice and discrimination that have characterized the political, economic and social development of Latin America.
