dc.descriptionThis article addresses the ways in which sports policy was applied as part of a housing construction program during Salvador Allende’s government. The role that the State housing corporations and DIGEDER played in reinforcing a policy of space as a social product (an idea somewhat neglected by previous governments) is analyzed from a neo-institutional point of view. The study proposes that the administration during the Unidad Popular developed balanced and inclusive urban planning, incorporating sports infrastructure into new, low-income neighborhoods. To this end, documentation from the CORMU and CORVI collections of the Archivo Nacional de la Administración was used as were the magazines Estadio and Auca and the newspaper El Siglo. Finally, a case study in the city of Antofagasta is researched in greater depth, reviewing the how andwhat of construction programs and plans that allowed for the development of an inclusiveurbanization and sports infrastructure.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo se interroga por las formas en que se aplicó la adecuación de una política deportiva, como parte del programa habitacional durante el gobierno de Salvador Allende. Se analiza, desde una dimensión neoinstitucional, el rol que tuvieron las corporaciones habitacionales del Estado y la DIGEDER en reforzar una política de producción social del espacio. Se propone que, durante la administración de la Unidad Popular, se desarrolló una planificación urbana equilibrada e incluyente que acompañó de infraestructura deportiva a los nuevos barrios con menos recursos de la sociedad. Para ello, se pesquisó documentación de los fondos CORMU y CORVI del Archivo Nacional de la Administración, así como las revistas Estadio y Auca, además del periódico El Siglo. Por último, se ejemplifica con mayor profundidad a través de un estudio de caso en la comuna de Antofagasta, revisando cómo y cuáles fueron los programas y planes constructivos que permitieron desarrollar una urbanización e infraestructura deportiva incluyente.es-ES
