The purpose of this work is to demonstrate the tendency that exists in current international investment law to establish obligations for foreign investors in order to try to fill the existing gaps regarding the lack of regulations regarding human rights and environmental violations that they may commit within the framework of their investments.    Este trabajo tiene como fin demostrar la tendencia que existe en el derecho internacional de las inversiones actual de establecer obligaciones a los inversionistas extranjeros con el fin de intentar llenar los vacíos existentes respecto de la falta de normativa respecto de las violaciones de derechos humanos o del medioambiente que pudieren cometer éstos en el marco de sus inversiones.   O objetivo deste trabalho é demonstrar a tendência que existe na atual legislação internacional de investimentos em estabelecer obrigações para os investidores estrangeiros, a fim de tentar preencher as lacunas existentes quanto à falta de regulamentação relativa às violações dos direitos humanos ou do meio ambiente que estes possam cometer. no âmbito dos seus investimentos.
