The main objective of this article is to analyze the avant-garde magazine Gong: tablero de arte y literatura (1929-1931), directed by Oreste Plath. This publication will be contextualized within the framework of the late Avant-Garde in Valparaíso, considering the articulation of correspondence networks that are exhibited in it with similar journals among Latin America (particularly with Peruvian journals).  Thus, taking into account some of Gong's collaborations, among them those of Peruvian poet César Vallejo. Secondly, the visual composition of Gong, will be addressed examining the techniques that are used for the design of its pages, particularly the graphic composition (Viu, Tarcus) of the name Gong throughout its issues.El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la revista de vanguardia Gong: tablero de arte y literatura (1929-1931), dirigida por Oreste Plath. Contextualizaremos esta publicación en el marco de la vanguardia tardía en Valparaíso, considerando la articulación de redes de correspondencia que en ella se exhiben con publicaciones similares del continente (especialmente con revistas peruanas), y atendiendo a algunas colaboraciones de Gong, entre ellas las de César Vallejo. En segundo lugar, analizaremos la composición visual de Gong, observando las técnicas que son utilizadas para el diseño de sus páginas, particularmente la composición gráfica (Viu, Tarcus) del nombre Gong a lo largo de sus números.
