dc.descriptionArchives and theatricalities of the Chilean exile in Costa Rica (1970-1980) is a research that seeks to make visible the work of Chilean theater artists exiled in this Caribbean country during the seventies and eighties, as a result of the Chilean dictatorship in the context of the Cold War, where all of Latin America was under authoritarian regimes. This work seeks to identify and understand the theatrical work that these artists developed in exile in Costa Rica, based on three axes: collaboration networks, production modes, and staging strategies. The particularity of this study is that all the research was carried out from archive material, specifically two documentary collections: (1) the Huellas de Exilio Collection of the Arde Archive and (2) the Documentary Fund of Theater Albums of Bélgica Castro and Alejandro Sieveking, from the Research and Archives Program of the Theater Scene UC.en-US
dc.descriptionArchivos y teatralidades del exilio chileno en Costa Rica (1970-1980) es una investigación que busca visibilizar el trabajo de teatristas chilenos/as exiliados/as en este país caribeño durante las décadas de los años setentas y ochentas, producto de la dictadura chilena en el contexto de guerra fría, en donde toda Latinoamérica estuvo bajo regímenes autoritarios. El presente trabajo busca identificar y comprender el trabajo teatral que estos/as artistas desarrollaron en el exilio en Costa Rica, a partir de tres ejes: las redes de colaboración, los modos de producción y las estrategias de escenificación. La particularidad de este estudio, es que toda la investigación se realizó a partir de material archivo, específicamente dos acervos documentales: (1) la Colección Huellas de Exilio del Archivo Arde y (2) el Fondo Documental de Álbumes Teatrales de Bélgica Castro y Alejandro Sieveking, del Programa de Investigación y Archivos de la Escena Teatral UC.es-ES
