During the 17th century, many where the noblemen who served as viceroys in the kingdoms of the Crown of Aragón and Navarre who also held different diplomatic posts. The aim of this essay is to achieve a first approach about this topic and carry out an analysis of these aristocrats putting their careers and the importance of the positions they held throughout their lives into context. To achieve our objective, we will do some prosopographical brushstrokes of each of them trying to establish a series of common issues such as the importance of the lineages to which they belonged, the relevance of the viceroyalties and embassies they occupied, how it affected their career or if was a professional link between these different political positions.Durante el siglo XVII muchos fueron los nobles que ejercieron como virreyes en los reinos de la Corona de Aragón y Navarra que, además, ocuparon diferentes cargos diplomáticos. El objetivo del presente estudio es realizar un primer acercamiento a este planteamiento y llevar a cabo un análisis de los aristócratas que se recogen, poniendo en contexto sus carreras y la importancia de los cargos que ocuparon a lo largo de su vida. Para lograr nuestro objetivo, daremos unas pinceladas prosopográficas de cada uno de ellos, tratando de establecer una serie de cuestiones comunes, tales como la importancia de los linajes a los que pertenecían, la calidad de los virreinatos y embajadas que ocuparon, cómo afectó a sus carreras estos nombramientos o si existió un vínculo profesional entre los diferentes cargos políticos.
