dc.description	This paper will focus on one of the rulings Judge Cecilia Medina Quiroga worked on: the 2009 González et al. («Cotton Field») V. Mexico case. Special attention will be paid to one of the aspects addressed in the ruling: gender stereotypes, using the gender perspective tool which will allow us to delve deeper into the articulation of these aspects with the patriarchal system and, finally, into one of the harms to the rights of women and girls caused by their use in the argumentation of a decision: the right to be judged by an impartial tribunal.	en-US
dc.description	En este trabajo se prestará atención a una de las sentencias en las que trabajó la jueza Cecilia Medina Quiroga: el caso González y otras («Campo Algodonero») Vs. México de 2009. Se revisará uno de los aspectos que se aborda en la sentencia: los estereotipos de género, a partir del uso de la herramienta perspectiva de género, lo que permitirá ahondar en la articulación de estos aspectos con el sistema patriarcal y, finalmente, reflexionar sobre los daños a los derechos de las mujeres y de las niñas que provoca el uso de los estereotipos de género respecto del derecho a ser juzgado por un tribunal imparcial.	es-ES
