| dc.description | Covid-19 brought with it numerous repercussions for people´ s lives, considering the way we communicate one of the most visible, establishing teleworking as the safest way to sustain an economy in crisis. From a theoretical point of view, the present reaserch is based on the concepts of newsmaking and agenda setting theory, in addition to the notion of gender linked to stereotype to analyze how the broadcast elaboration process changed during the pandemic in its initial stage. This affected the procedure of constructing news and accentuated gender gaps amoung journalists that are perpetuated until today. | dc.description | El Covid-19 trajo consigo numerosas repercusiones en la vida de las personas siendo la forma en que nos comunicamos una de las más visibles, estableciéndose el teletrabajo como la forma más segura de sustentar una economía en crisis. Desde un punto de vista teórico, la siguiente investigación se basa en los conceptos de noticia, newsmaking y la teoría de agenda setting, además de la noción de género vinculada a estereotipo, para analizar cómo cambió la rutina periodística durante la pandemia en su fase inicial. Esto afectó al periodismo en cuanto a la construcción de la noticia y acentuó brechas de género entre los periodistas que se perpetúan hasta el día de hoy. La presente investigación, analiza mediante entrevistas semi estructuradas realizadas a 14 periodistas chilenos, el impacto del teletrabajo en el oficio del periodismo. | es |
