dc.descriptionThis paper seeks to question two criteria traditionally present in the theory of justice and decision-making in the environmental crisis: 1) The possibility of moral impartiality and 2) The human/nature dichotomy. It is argued that the principle of moral partiality and interdependence with the environment will allow for a situated development of nature-friendly policies. It is argued that climate change allows us to reconsider our relationship with nature and that the ethics of environmental care, known as ecosophy, appeals to an encounter with nature rather than a distance. Finally, it is argued that it is not possible to be impartial in making decisions that affect nature, since nature actively participates in decisions about it. The relevance of this paper lies in the reflection and reformulation of contemporary ethical concerns to promote a caring relationship with nature.en-US
dc.descriptionEste artículo busca cuestionar dos criterios presentes tradicionalmente en la teoría de la justicia y la toma de decisiones en la crisis medioambiental: 1) La posibilidad de la imparcialidad moral y 2) La dicotomía ser humano/naturaleza. Se sostiene que el principio de parcialidad moral y la interdependencia con el medioambiente permitirán un desarrollo de políticas favorables a la naturaleza. Se argumenta que el cambio climático permite reconsiderar nuestras relaciones con la naturaleza y que la ética del cuidado ambiental, conocida como ecosofía, apela a un encuentro con la naturaleza más que a una distancia. Finalmente, se plantea que no es posible ser imparciales en la toma de decisiones que afectan a la naturaleza, ya que esta participa activamente en las decisiones sobre ella. La relevancia de este escrito radica en la reflexión y reformulación de las preocupaciones éticas contemporáneas para promover una relación de cuidado con la naturaleza.es-ES
