dc.descriptionThe paper asks about trust when it unfolds between those who do not know each other and develop in standardized ties mediated by institutions, proposing that in such hypotheses the trusting party counts on the other to continue cooperating, subject to certain basic rules of interaction: the rule of no harm, according to which the other will refrain from behaviors that interfere with each other's freedom of action or cause harm, and the rule that obliges to act in accordance with the role and that bases the expectation that the other will satisfy those courses of action that have their source in institutions. In the case of interactions sustained over time, there is also the rule of reciprocity, according to which one person will act in the following interactions in a way that is adjusted and coherent with the previous behavior of the other.en-US
dc.descriptionEl trabajo se pregunta sobre la confianza cuando esta se despliega entre quienes no se conocen y se desenvuelven en vínculos estandarizados mediados por instituciones, proponiendo que en tales hipótesis quien confía cuenta con que el otro seguirá cooperando, sujeto a ciertas reglas básicas de interacción: la regla de no daño, conforme con la que el otro se abstendrá de desplegar comportamientos que interfieran en la libertad de actuación de cada cual o le ocasionen perjuicios, y la regla que obliga a actuar conforme con el rol y que funda las expectativas de que el otro satisfará los cursos de acción que tienen su fuente en instituciones. En el caso de interacciones sostenidas en el tiempo, además, la de reciprocidad, de acuerdo con la cual una persona obrará en las siguientes interacciones de una manera ajustada y coherente con el comportamiento previo de la otra.es-ES
