dc.descriptionThis article presents the findings of a qualitative research that addresses the migratory experiences of Venezuelan LGBTQ+ individuals in Colombia from a phenomenological and biographical perspective. It not only reveals the situations of violence they face but also their resistances and struggles for survival. These individuals are victims of double discrimination based on aporophobia and prejudices related to sexual orientation and gender identity. Discrimination manifests itself in both the rejection of the poor foreigner and in stigmas and practices that perpetuate the binary gender order and heteronormativity. Through the narratives of these LGBTQ+ migrant individuals, silenced and normalized violences are made visible, unveiling embedded scars and struggles for recognition in the search for their new home in Colombia.en-US
dc.descriptionEste artículo presenta los hallazgos de una investigación cualitativa que aborda las experiencias migratorias de personas venezolanas LGBTQ+ en Colombia desde una perspectiva fenomenológica y biográfica. Revela no solo las situaciones de violencia que enfrentan, sino también sus resistencias y luchas por la supervivencia. Estas personas son víctimas de una doble discriminación basada en la aporofobia y prejuicios relacionados con la orientación sexual y la identidad de género. La discriminación se manifiesta tanto en el rechazo al extranjero pobre como en estigmas y prácticas que perpetúan el orden binario del género y la heteronormatividad. A través de los relatos de estas personas migrantes LGBTQ+, se visibilizan violencias silenciadas y naturalizadas, develando cicatrices encarnadas y luchas por el reconocimiento en la búsqueda de su nuevo hogar en Colombia.es-ES
