dc.descriptionWe study a Mexican university colectiva with the purpose of understanding how they can maintain their feminist commitment despite the resistance and attacks of patriarchy. From the theoretical framework of religiosity, understood as the social construction of the-transcendent, we investigate how the collective sacralizes woman/women and gender equality in the face of different valuations of the world, in the context of normative pluralism typical of contemporary Western societies. Using case study and discourse analysis methods, we conduct semi- structured interviews with ten university students. We identify in their speech five religious facets –sacralizations, transcendental experiences, doctrines, rites and community ties– that convey a feminism which we call inclusive, along with absolutizations of loved ones and the personal life project. Making these reifications visible makes it possible to recenter the feminist commitment when it is relativized by contact with other sacralizations; it also shows that they are social constructions that evolve according to ever-changing needs. The religiosity approach allows us to focus on the intangible motivations that inspire feminist activism, showing the  complementarities  and tensions with other sacralizations with which it competes.en-US
dc.descriptionEstudiamos una colectiva universitaria mexicana con el propósito de comprender cómo puede mantenerse en su compromiso feminista pese a la resistencia y los embates del patriarcado. Desde el marco teórico de la religiosidad, entendida como la construcción social de lo- trascendente, indagamos de qué manera la colectiva sacraliza a la(s) mujer(es) y la igualdad de género frente a diferentes valoraciones del mundo, en el contexto del pluralismo normativo propio de las sociedades occidentales contemporáneas. Empleando los métodos de estudio de caso y análisis del discurso, realizamos entrevistas semiestructuradas a diez jóvenes universitarias. Identificamos en su discurso cinco facetas religiosas – sacralizaciones, experiencias trascendentales, doctrinas, ritos y lazos comunitarios– que vehiculan un feminismo que denominamos incluyente, junto a absolutizaciones de los seres queridos y el proyecto de vida personal. Visibilizar estas reificaciones posibilita reencauzar el compromiso feminista cuando éste se relativiza por contacto con otras sacralizaciones; también evidencia que son construcciones sociales que evolucionan conforme a las siempre cambiantes necesidades. El enfoque de la religiosidad permite centrarnos en las motivaciones intangibles que inspiran el activismo feminista, mostrando las complementariedades y tensiones con otras sacralizaciones con las que compite.es-ES
