dc.description	This article is the result of a social research within the framework of the FONDEF project IT20I0006 “Socio-productive validation of algal hydrogel for the efficient use of water in areas affected by water shortage”. Its main focus is to analyse and describe the socio-technical dependencies and transformations experienced by small and medium farmers in a context marked by the effects of global environmental change, present in the Elqui Valley, Coquimbo Region, Chile.	en-US

Tiene como foco principal analizar y describir las dependencias y transformaciones sociotécnicas que viven pequeños y medianos agricultores en un contexto marcado por afectaciones del cambio ambiental global, principalmente por la mega-sequía, presentes en el Valle del Elqui, Región de Coquimbo, Chile.	es-ES
