Abstract
Introducción: este artículo tiene como objetivo describir la incidencia de la congruencia, comprensión empática y consideración positiva incondicional desde la relación docente-alumno. Material y Método: el método correspondiente a este estudio es cuantitativo y cualitativo (Mixto); en el caso del primero, se obtuvo la información a partir de un inventario formulado por oraciones que representen las tres actitudes básicas: comprensión empática, interés positivo incondicional y congruencia, en donde los alumnos marcaron la respuesta que consideraron adecuada. En la parte cualitativa los alumnos expresaron sus opiniones en las preguntas abiertas que forman parte del inventario. Resultados y conclusiones: El compromiso se presenta como expresión de esta actitud en ambas partes; Las tres actitudes fundamentales están relacionadas entre sí, cada una abre caminos y posibilidades para enriquecerse como persona y se requiere trabajar en ellas de manera continua y disciplinada. La comprensión empática, la congruencia y la consideración positiva incondicional son parte del ser humano, puede que una esté más desarrollada y clara, usualmente, tiende a ser la empatía, aunque sin la congruencia no se percibe que la conducta empática sea genuina ni que exista un interés positivo real. Introduction: this article aims to describe the incidence of congruence, empathic understanding and unconditional positive regard from the teacher-student relationship. Material and Method: the method corresponding to this study is quantitative and qualitative (Mixed); In the case of the first, the information was obtained from an inventory formulated by sentences that represent the three basic attitudes: empathic understanding, unconditional positive interest and congruence, where the students marked the answer, they considered appropriate. In the qualitative part, the students expressed their opinions in the open questions that are part of the inventory. Results and conclusions: The commitment is presented as an expression of this attitude in both parts; The three fundamental attitudes are related to each other; each one opens paths and possibilities to enrich oneself as a person and it is necessary to work on them in a continuous and disciplined way. Empathic understanding, congruence and unconditional positive regard are part of the human being, one may be more developed and clearer, usually, it tends to be empathy, although without congruence it is not perceived that empathic behavior is genuine or that it exists a real positive interest.
