dc.descriptionEl propósito de este artículo es presentar a la perspectiva de género como un enfoque directamente relacionado y compatible con el Enfoque Centrado en la Persona (ECP). La integración entre ambas visiones busca ampliar la reflexión y enriquecer el trabajo terapéutico mediante la consideración del contexto sociohistórico en el que se insertan las personas. Este trabajo revisa las reflexiones del propio Carl Rogers en torno a lo lingüístico y el trabajo con mujeres y grupos oprimidos. Además, se señalan aspectos generales de ambas teorías y se revisan las complementariedades y conflictos que pueden generarse. Finalmente, se presentan las consideraciones que deben existir en el espacio terapéutico, indicando los beneficios de tener en cuenta el género del o la terapeuta y del o la consultante, tanto en un trabajo individual como en el realizado en grupos.es
dc.descriptionThe purpose of this article is to present gender approach as a perspective directly related and compatible with Person Centered Approach. Integration between both visions seeks to broaden thoughts and enrich therapeutic work through consideration of the sociohistorical context in which people are inserted. This work reviews thoughts of Carl Rogers himself on linguistics and work with women and oppressed groups. In addition, general aspects of both theories are pointed out, and complementarities and conflicts that may arise are checked. Finally, this article present considerations that should exist in therapeutic space, indicating benefits of having knowledge and consideration about the gender of the therapist and the consultant, both in individual and group work.en
