dc.description	¿Which is the state of hydric resources in Chile? The following text gives us an exhaustive analysis of the situation of water in Chile, bringig up elements of standing laws and the use of such laws by privates, mainly on the mining sector, the hydroelectrical industry and the export-oriented agoindustry. The creation of a water market based on solely mercantilistic criteria, constitutes one of the most important consequences of such transformation in the last thirty years. The demand of the comunity brought forth during the nineties, in regards to a better control over the use of the hydric resources, is in the core of cititzen’s reivindication, which demands more and better answers from political power.	en-US
dc.description	¿Cuál es el estado de los recursos hídricos en el Chile? El siguiente texto nos aporta un análisis exhaustivo de la situación del agua en el país, incorporando elementos de la legislación vigente y del uso de tales derechos por parte de los privados, principalmente del sector minero, la industria de generación hidroeléctrica y la agroindustria exportadora. La creación de un mercado del agua sobre la base de criterios meramente mercantilistas, constituye una de las consecuencias más importantes de dicha transformación en los últimos 30 años. La demanda comunitaria, expresada durante los años 90, en cuanto a un mejor control sobre el uso de los recursos hídricos, está en el centro de la reivindicación ciudadana, que exige más y mejores respuestas por parte del poder político.	es-ES
