| dc.description | El presente artículo aborda el proceso de descentralización del Estado chileno desde el retorno a la democracia en 1990, enfatizando el análisis en el período de gobierno del ex Presidente Sebastián Piñera (2010- 2014). Se analiza el proceso en lo que se refiere, fundamentalmente, a la evolución de la organización de los Gobiernos Regionales en sus instancias directivas y a los desafíos que se plantean en el marco de las reformas políticas (elección directa de la máxima autoridad regional) y en el plano de la equidad territorial. Respecto a esto último se afirma que los desafíos son todavía mayores, puesto que se observan avances escasos en el período estudiado, manteniendo más o menos inalterado el ranking de desarrollo de las regiones. | es-ES |
