| dc.description | El artículo realiza un análisis sociohistórico y empírico del Ministerio del Interior y de su titular durante la última dictadura militar argentina, autodenominada Proceso de Reorganización Nacional (1976-1983). Por un lado, analiza las credenciales valoradas en el reclutamiento de los ministros, sus trayectorias educativas y profesionales, el grado de militarización de la cartera y la estabilidad que presentó durante el período, dando cuenta de la configuración de la élite militar que la ocupó. Por otro lado, distingue las funciones cumplidas por el ministro y el ministerio durante la dictadura, tanto las definidas formalmente como las informales, demostrando la profunda articulación entre los objetivos represivos y los objetivos políticos del régimen. | es-ES |
| dc.description | The article takes a socio-historical and empirical analysis of the Ministry of Interior and its leaders during Argentina's last military dictatorship, the self-styled Process of National Reorganization (1976-1983). On the one hand, it analyzes the credentials valued in the recruitment of ministers, and their educational and career paths, the degree of militarization of the portfolio and the stability that it provided during the period, accounting for the configuration of the military elite that held the portfolio. On the other hand, it distinguishes the functions performed by the minister and the ministry during the dictatorship, both formal and informal, demonstrating the profound link between the repressive and political objectives of the regime. | en-US |
