Dedicado al estudio de la Audiencia de Galicia, en el primer tercio del siglo XVII se aboca el presente artículo. En particular, en el marco, a juicio del autor, "[d] el mundo de las instituciones, la política y el derecho durante el siglo de la depresión", aludiendo con ello a la profunda crisis y decaimiento por los que atravesaron dos ciudades del Reino de Nueva España, México y Guadalajara, desde fines del siglo XVI hasta el primer tercio del siglo XVII. En el marco de las instituciones y sus hombres, la Audiencia de Nueva Galicia y sus oidores no están exentos de este contexto.    Dedicated to the study of the Galician Audience, in the first third of the XVII century, this article is about. Particularly in the context, to the author, of "the world of the institutioms, politics and law in the depression century", making a reference with this to the deep crisis and decaiment the two cities of the Kingdom of Nueva España, Mexico and Guadalajara, from the end of the XVI century until the first third of the the XVII century.
