dc.descriptionEl presente estudio tiene como propósito identificar el modelo de Gestión Coordinada de Fronteras en el cual interactúa la Aduana de Chile, enfocado al paso fronterizo "Sistema Cristo Redentor" con la finalidad de reconocer avances y retos de la aduana en el desarrollo de este modelo. Se utilizó una metodología de enfoque cualitativo, que considera elementos de "teaching case" y de un estudio de caso investigativo de tipo exploratorio. Se constató un modelo de gestión descentralizado, el cual ha estado en continua construcción desde 1984 y que posterior al año 2001 se afianza mediante la creación de las Áreas de Control Integrado, que junto al Comité de Integración Cristo Redentor, representan el marco institucional vigente. Asimismo en lo que respecta a las relaciones de cooperación, se desprende una fuerte vinculación entre las aduanas de Chile y Argentina, pero la existencia de relaciones negativas a nivel inter-institucional de los organismos de seguridad con la aduana.es-ES
dc.descriptionhis study aims to identify the model of the Coordinated Border Management in which chilean border custom interacts, focused on "Cristo Redentor" border cross in order to recognize achievements and challenges of customs in the development of this model. A qualitative methodology approach was used, which considers elements of "teaching case" and study case of exploratory research. This border cross has model of decentralized management, that has been in continuous construction since 1984 and, since 2001, has been strengthened by the creation of the Integrated Control Areas, which together with the "Cristo Redentor" Integration Committee, representing the existing institutional framework. Also, regarding the relations of cooperation, this study founded a strong link between Chile and Argentina border customs, but also the existence of negative inter-institutional relationships between the security agencies with this customs.en-US
