dc.descriptionEl sismo ocurrido el pasado 27 de Febrero dejó un enorme nivel de destrucción, sin embargo, no es la primera vez que un suceso de esta magnitud afecta nuestro país con similares consecuencias. El 13 de junio de 2005, tuvo lugar un sismo de 7,8 grados de magnitud en la escala de Richter3 en la I Región de Tarapacá, donde pueblos de gran valor patrimonial, arquitectónico y cultural se vieron seriamente afectados. Uno de ellos es San Lorenzo de Tarapacá, caso de estudio a partir del cual se elaboran las estrategias proyectuales que se plantean en este artículo, las que podrían servir como base para otras intervenciones en poblados patrimoniales destruidos por el reciente terremoto. Se trata de un sistema de re-construcción que nace desde el análisis e identificación de los valores patrimoniales del lugar, y la utilización de estos elementos para desarrollar los proyectos arquitectónicos de re-construcción.es-ES
dc.descriptionThe earthquake that occurred last February 27th caused a great deal of destruction. However, it is not the first time a seismic event of this scale has affected our country with such consequences. On 13 June 2005, an earthquake measuring 7.8 degrees on the Richter scale seriously damaged villages of considerable architectural, cultural and heritage value in Tarapacá, in Region I. The project strategies identified in this article have been developed from the study of one of these villages, San Lorenzo de Tarapacá, and could prove a useful basis for other such interventions in heritage villages destroyed by the recent earthquake. The reconstruction system is based on analysis and identification of the heritage values of the place and the use of these elements to develop architectural reconstruction projects.en-US
