| dc.description | El presente artículo pretende realizar una reflexión sobre el desarrollo del transporte ferroviario en la Provincia de Buenos Aires que constituyó un fenómeno significativo en la localización de actividades y población, en las relaciones espaciales y en la organización territorial.El Ferrocarril del Sur en su proceso de instalación entre 1880 y 1930, presenta fuerte evidencia en la construcción del territorio. El presente trabajo trata la problemática ferroviaria, en su aspecto urbano, por los condicionantes que el territorio en sus características imprimió a los ferrocarriles, como la impronta de éste en el poblamiento, la valorización de regiones, comarcas y las estructuración del espacio geográfico al cual moldeó con infraestructuras viales, puentes y viaductos, estaciones rurales y urbanas, instalaciones de abastecimiento, etc. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This article reflects upon the development of rail transport in the Buenos Aires province, a significant phenomenon in the localization of activities and population, in spatial relationships and in the territorial organization.The Ferrocarril del Sur, during its construction between 1880 and 1930, had a strong impact upon territorial organisation. This paper deals with the urban aspects of the railway, both in terms of how the characteristics of the landscape influenced the railways, and how the latter in turn affected the population, regional land values and the structure of geographic space moulded by rail infrastructure, bridges and viaducts, rural and urban stations, supply infrastructure, etc. | en-US |
