One of the main problems that crosses today's society is the loss of politics. However social movements of the subcontractors of CODELCO and Bosques Arauco, may seem to be against this tendency. This paper it elucidate if this situation is real and if these movements are susceptible to being analysed from a political point of view. Also investigates if they have chances of projecting themselves in time, and if their demands and vindications are rather situational. The results indicate that there are different states of politicization in the movements of CODELCO and Bosques Arauco. The chances of the social movements from CODELCO to project themselves in a political way are higher than the chances from Bosques Arauco social movements.Uno de los principales problemas que atraviesa la sociedad actual es la despolitización. Los movimientos de los trabajadores subcontratistas de CODELCO y Bosques Arauco, sin embargo, parecen oponerse a esa tendencia. En esta investigación se estudia, precisamente, si eso es así, es decir, si estos movimientos son susceptibles de ser analizados desde un punto de vista político; si tienen posibilidades de proyectarse en el tiempo o si sus demandas y reivindicaciones son más bien coyunturales. Los principales resultados nos indican que hay distintos grados de politización en los movimientos de CODELCO y de Bosques Arauco. Las posibilidades de proyectarse políticamente del movimiento subcontratista de CODELCO son mayores que las de Bosques Arauco.
