| dc.description | La principal iniciativa en materia educativa del primer año del segundo gobierno de Michelle Bachelet (2014-2018) es el proyecto de ley que regula la selección de estudiantes, elimina el financiamiento compartido y elimina el lucro en los centros educativos que reciben aportes del Estado. Frente a esta iniciativa diversos grupos de interés y académicos de orientación neoliberal y neoconservadora, han respondido con una arremetida comunicacional en contra de la reforma sustentada en el miedo frente a un hipotético cierre masivo de colegios privados, la estatización de la educación, la expropiación de la propiedad, la limitación del derecho de elegir y el menoscabo de la clase media.
