The present work studies the articulation between cinema, history and technique, in the context of historical representations produced by Chilean fiction cinema. To undertake such a task, a comparison is made between two mnemonics: the cinematographic narrative and the oral narration of history. The comparative study materializes in the analysis of two Chilean films that, on one hand, narrate a historical theme, and, on the other, present a content related to oral narration. These films are Violeta se fue a los cielos (2011) and Sub-Terra (2003).El presente trabajo busca estudiar la articulación entre cine, historia y técnica, en el contexto de las representaciones históricas que elabora el cine chileno de ficción. Para emprender tal cometido, se realiza una comparación entre dos nemotecnias: la narración cinematográfica y la narración oral de la historia. El estudio comparativo se materializa en el análisis de dos películas chilenas que, por un lado, narran una temática histórica, y, por el otro, presentan un contenido relacionado con la narración oral. Estos filmes son Violeta se fue a los cielos (2011) y Sub-Terra (2003).
