| dc.description | At present, the diagnosis of many authors points to a deep "crisis of modernity", a crisis that has been called "Post-modernity". One of the characteristics of "the post-modern" is, precisely, the breakdown of the great ideological stories; this bankruptcy of the metanarratives brings with it a weakening of the political parties. If the political party is no longer the bearer of a collective will and individual power is unthinkable in a mass society, the question about the new forms that the exercise of power acquires is inevitable. What characteristics does the Post-modern Prince evidence in our present - a present of consumption and digital networks? | en-US |
| dc.description | En la actualidad, el diagnóstico de muchos pensadores apunta a una profunda “crisis de la modernidad”, una crisis que ha sido llamada “Posmodernidad”. Una de las características de “lo posmoderno” es, precisamente, el desfondamiento de los grandes relatos ideológicos; esta bancarrota de los metarrelatos trae consigo un debilitamiento de los partidos políticos. Si el partido político ya no es el portador de una voluntad colectiva y el poder individual resulta impensable en una sociedad de masas, surge inevitable la cuestión sobre las nuevas formas que adquiere el ejercicio del poder. ¿Qué características evidencia en nuestro presente – un presente de consumo y redes digitales – el Príncipe Posmoderno? | es-ES |
