| dc.description | The residential segregation of Penalolen has declined since the early 90's. Currently there are areas of low-income housing areas with building projects of the type condominiums. This geographic closeness between families of different social classes makes this community a special place to observe new types of social relationships. This article provides empirical material about socio-territorial differentiated children and how them represents the phenomenon of urban insecurity and fear, also demonstrates how that feelings configures their urban way of live. | en-US |
| dc.description | La escala de segregación residencial de la comuna de Peñalolén ha disminuido a partir de los años 90's. Actualmente coexisten sectores de viviendas populares con áreas que concentran proyectos inmobiliarios tipo condominios. Este acercamiento geográfico entre familias de clases sociales divergentes hace de esta comuna un espacio propicio para observar nuevos tipos de relaciones sociales. Este artículo provee material empírico sobre cómo los niños pertenecientes a perfiles socio-territoriales diferenciados que viven aquí representan el fenómeno de la inseguridad urbana y de qué modo el temor al otro modela sus experiencias urbanas. | es-ES |
