dc.descriptionRESUMEN: El atractivo de la Isla de Pascua ha impulsado a muchos turistas a decidir visitarla, pero esto ha traído consecuencias, a causa de que la llegada de visitantes ha ido en aumento por lo que se está sobrepasando la capacidad de la isla, además de que se quedan por largos períodos de tiempo o permanentemente provocándose una sobrepoblación en donde sólo existe una superficie de 166 km2. Por consiguiente, el objetivo de este trabajo es describir e informar de las diferentes consecuencias que ha provocado la falta de regulación y de un orden eficaz, en el sistema y funcionamiento del turismo de la isla de Pascua. La metodología que se usará en este informe estará fundamentada por diferentes fuentes sobre el turismo y sus consecuencias en la Isla de Pascua. Estos efectos desfavorables generados, han provocado un deterioro en el ecosistema de la isla, en su arqueología, también en varias áreas y sectores turísticos, viéndose afectada la tierra y sus recursos naturales, las esculturas, las playas y la limpieza de sus alrededores, gracias al escaso control utilizado. Palabras clave: Turismo, consecuencias, ecosistema, sobrepoblación, arqueología ABSTRACT: The appeal of Easter Island has prompted many tourists decide to visit, but this has brought consequences, because the arrival of visitors has increased by what is outstripping the capacity of the island, in addition to being remain for long periods of time or permanently provoking overcrowding where there is only a surface of 166 km2. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to describe and report on the differential impact has resulted in a lack of regulation and an effective order in the system and operation of tourism on Easter Island. The methodology used in this report will be informed by various sources on tourism and its impact on Easter Island. These adverse effects generated have led to a deterioration in the ecosystem of the island in its archeology, also in several areas and tourist sectors, being affected land and natural resources, sculptures, cleaning beaches and surrounding areas, thanks the limited control used.
