RESUMEN: La investigación, revela el valor y la herencia cultural del Pueblo Afro y Afroecuatoriano, en casi 489 años, quienes son ejemplo de trabajo, perseverancia, sacrificio, talento y humildad, a pesar de las adversidades del entorno geográfico y de la opresión sufrida desde su llegada al Ecuador. Han generado un rol protagónico en armonía con indígenas y  mestizos,  respecto a  la lucha por sus ideales y siempre han arengado por mejores días para su clase. Ha sido un camino matizado por fracasos, retos y desafíos; no obstante, también de logros y glorias en los ámbitos: político, cultural, educativo-científico y deportivo; contribuyendo así, a la construcción de la historia del Ecuador. El objetivo es, rescatar, visibilizar y revalorizar este legado, mediante el turismo comunitario, orientado al Buen Vivir. Abstract: The research reveals the value and heritage of African and Afro-Ecuadorian people in almost 489 years, who are working example, perseverance, sacrifice, talent and humility, despite the adversities of geographical environment and the oppression from arrival in Ecuador. They have generated a leading role in harmony with indigenous and mestizos, regarding  the fight for their ideals and have always harangued for better days for their class. It was a way tempered by failures,  and challenges; however, also achievements and glories in the following fields: political, cultural, educational and scientific and sports; thus contributing to the construction of the history of Ecuador. The objective is to rescue, visibilize and enhance this legacy through cultural tourism, oriented Good Living.
