| dc.description | RESUMEN: Los niveles de contaminación del agua en chile ha sido un problema de preocupación para las autoridades, es por ello que el objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la contaminación del agua en la séptima y octava región de Chile, explicando sus consecuencias, las enfermedades que se producen, los mayores contaminantes, entre otros. Además de especificar los índices de consumo de agua en Chile. El trabajo fue realizado a través de una revisión bibliográfica de fuentes secundarias que se relacionaban con el tema de la contaminación hídrica. Se concluye que la contaminación del agua provoca enfermedades y daños irreversibles para el ser humano y para el medio ambiente. Palabras clave: personas, contaminación, enfermedades, medio ambiente ABSTRACT: The levels of water pollution in Chile has been an issue of concern to the authorities, which is why the aim of this paper is to analyze water pollution in the seventh and eighth region of Chile, explaining their consequences, the diseases that are produce by the biggest polluters, among others. Besides to specifying the rates of water consumption in Chile. The work was done through a literature review of secondary sources that were related whit the issue of water pollution.
