dc.description	RESUMEN: El presente trabajo exibe la situación energética de Chile, muestra la busqueda que posee Chile ante una inminente crisis energética, causada por el agotamiento de este recurso. Se exhibe la situación actual de la empresa Geotérmica El Tatio S.A.. Los objetivos específicos del trabajo son: exponer las controversias que existen en la utilización de este método de obtener energía, presentar el impacto en el sector turístico y el impacto social. Se puede observar el descontento de la población ante La explotación en El Tatio, ya que esto dañaría el potencial turístico de La zona. La metodologia utilizada en este trabajo se basa en una revision bibliográfica y recolección de información secundaria.
