| dc.description | The article deals with the discussion around the theory of justification of the punitive practice that may be developed on the basis of John Rawls' work of political philosophy. It explores a proposal that places an authentic standard of criminal justice in Rawls's work, along with the classic standard of political distributive justice. Secondly, it discusses the foundations of moral philosophy of a certain critique to the mentioned proposal. Finally ir briefly develops the relationship between political philosophy (theory of justice) and the justification of the punitive practice (theory of punishment) as part of the contemporary debate about these matters. | en-US |

El autor explora una propuesta que intenta situar un auténtico estándar de justicia penal en la obra de Rawls, junto al clásico estándar de justicia política distributiva. En segundo lugar, discute acerca de los fundamentos de filosofía moral de cierta crítica a la propuesta comentada. Por último, a modo de conclusión, desarrolla brevemente la relación entre filosofía política (teoría de la justicia) y justificación de la práctica punitiva (teoría de la pena) a propósito de la discusión contemporánea comentada. | es-ES |
