Traditional economic relations have had a geographic orientation that could be defined from North to South; that is, between developed and developing nations. In recent years, what we can call South / South cooperation has emerged, that which occurs between Third World countries, characterized by their horizontality. The new conditions of contemporary economic-political reality are favorable to this objective, particularly due to the greater negotiating capacity of an important part of the Third World in terms of the control of fuels and essential raw materials for the growth of the international economy. However, this new reality does not yet have systems or regimes that facilitate this cooperation. In this paper some of the forms that this common labor can take are systematized.Las relaciones económicas tradicionales han tenido una orientación geográfica que pudiera definirse de Norte a Sur; es decir, entre naciones desarrolladas y aquellas en vías de desarrollo. En los últimos años surge lo que podemos denominar como cooperación Sur/Sur, aquella que se produce entre los países del Tercer Mundo, caracterizadas por su horizontalidad. Las nuevas condiciones de la realidad económico-política contemporánea son favorables a este objetivo, particularmente por la mayor capacidad negociadora de una parte importante del Tercer Mundo en función del control de combustibles y materias primas esenciales para el crecimiento de la economía internacional. Sin embargo, esta nueva realidad aún no cuenta con sistemas o regímenes que faciliten esta cooperación. En este trabajo se sistematizan algunas de las formas que este trabajo en común puede revestir.
