| dc.description | In the case of the relations between Brazil and Chile in the last forty years, 1964 inaugurates a new stage. Between 1964 and 2006 we can distinguish relatively well marked approach and distancing movements. Such movements occur within the framework of a relationship that would be characterized by a tendency, designed throughout the nineteenth century, to build a solid and stable friendship. What would be the factors that favor its materialization? Which ones make it difficult? The present work tries to respond in a schematic way to these questions in the Brazilian-Chilean relationship, which are presented in three periods that, added together, serve to indicate the “logic” of the bilateral relations of both countries. | en-US |
| dc.description | En el caso de las relaciones entre Brasil y Chile en los últimos cuarenta años, 1964 inaugura una etapa. Entre 1964 y 2006 podemos distinguir movimientos de aproximación y de distanciamiento relativamente bien marcados. Tales movimientos ocurren en el marco de una relación que se caracterizaría por una tendencia, diseñada a lo largo del siglo XIX, a construir una amistad sólida y estable. ¿Cuáles serían los factores que favorecen su materialización? ¿Cuáles los que la dificultan? El presente trabajo pretende responder de modo esquemático a esas preguntas en la relación brasileño-chilena, los que se presentan en tres períodos que, sumados, sirven para indicar la “lógica” de las relaciones bilaterales de ambos países. | es-ES |
