| dc.description | El presente artículo tiene como objetivo examinar la relación entre el exilio (entendido como experiencia límite que pone en juego la capacidad representativa del lenguaje) y la conformación de un sujeto lírico en la poesía de Cristina Peri Rossi. Para ello, se da cuenta de la evolución de dicho sujeto, abarcando varios poemarios, desde los inicios de la producción poética de la autora, en Uruguay, hasta sus obras publicadas con posterioridad a su exilio en España (más específicamente de Evohé a Estado de exilio). Entendiendo el enunciado poético como proceso de conformación de un “yo,” según la concepción de Janusz Slawinski, se propone que el sujeto lírico constituye una categoría de análisis que permite comprender la poética de la autora y, en este caso, su tratamiento de la contingencia política y social. Se plantea así que la crisis que se da en Uruguay en la década de los sesenta, seguida por la experiencia de la dictadura cívico-militar y del exilio, son tematizadas por la conformación del sujeto lírico según dos ejes centrales y estrechamente vinculados: su relación con el otro (incluyendo su relación con la sociedad y la función del poeta en este contexto) y su relación con el lenguaje. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This article examines the relationship between the experience of exile (understood as an extreme experience that questions the representational capacity of language) and the conformation of a lyric subject in the poetry of Cristina Peri Rossi. To that end, it gives an account of the evolution of such subject throughout various books, ranging from the beginning of the author’s poetic production, in Uruguay, to her works following her exile in Spain (more specifically, from Evohé to Estado de exilio). Understanding the poetic utterance as a process of construction of a lyric “I,” as stated by Janusz Slawinski, our hypothesis is that the lyric subject constitutes a category of analysis that allows us to comprehend the author’s poetics and, in the present case, her treatment of the changing political and social circumstances. We thus affirm that the crisis that affected Uruguay during the ‘60s, followed by the experience of the civic-military dictatorship and that of exile, are thematized through the conformation of the lyric subject along two main lines: its relationship with the other (including its relationship with society and the poet’s function in this context), and its relationship with language. | en-US |
