| dc.description | Este artículo analiza el primer período de la prensa de y para mujeres en Chile, entre 1860-1890, denominado las pioneras. Se presenta el primer catastro de publicaciones para el período resultando un total de dieciséis periódicos y revistas. Sobre la base de índices de aquellas a las que se pudo acceder, y considerando el concepto de espacio público y la perspectiva de género, se definen cuatro tipos de publicaciones de y para mujeres. Ellos dan cuenta de la emergencia de sujetos femeninos asociados a empresas que respondieron a las condiciones de posibilidad dadas por el espacio público y la capacidad de sus productoras de asumirse como contrapúblicos. Estos antecedentes evidencian la acción de las mujeres en la cultura escrita. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This paper analyzes the first period of periodical press by and for women in Chile: “The Pioneers” (1850-1890). It offers the first registry of publications within the period. There are 16 newspapers and magazines which were indexed and categorized. Taking into consideration the concept of public sphere and the perspective of gender, four types of women to women publications were identified. They show the emergence of feminine topics associated to undertakings within the possibilities given by the public sphere and the ability of these women to assume a counter-public role. Thus they are evidence of women’s participation in the written culture. | en-US |
