Catastrophe as an instance of interpellation to conversion. A look from the parable of the Barren fig tree: luke 13: 1-9.
La catástrofe como instancia de interpelación a la conversión. Una mirada desde la parábola de la higuera estéril: Lc 13, 1-9.

| dc.description | This article analyzes from an exegetic-narrative perspective, the text on Lk 13, 1-9, where we can find Luke's proper material. Narration's first versicle, refeers to some catastrophic events, described with strong historical interest. Where does the third gospel's author obtains this data? Is it possible to determine those facts' historicity? The narration refeers to an execution done to some galilean peregrines in Jerusalem, by Pilates, and to the death of some people from Jerusalem, because of the toppling of Shiloh's tower. Those facts presented using the literary trope of rumour, allow Jesus to make a strong questioning to any idea that links the tragic death with some blame on the affected. On contrary, Jesus calls for conversion, and to see the facts as a questioning and invitation to deep change, expressed on the parable image of giving fruits. So, the narration is intrisecally articulated with the parable of the barren fig, which Luke tells next. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente artículo analiza desde una perspectiva exegético narrativa la perícopa de Lc 13, 1-9 en la cual se encuentra un material propiamente Lucano. En los primeros versículos del relato se hace referencia a unos acontecimientos catastróficos descritos con un fuerte interés histórico. ¿De dónde el autor del tercer evangelio obtiene estos datos? ¿Es posible determinar la historicidad de los hechos? En dicho relato se hace referencia a una ejecución de unos peregrinos galileos en Jerusalén por parte de Pilatos, y a la muerte de unos jerosolimitanos a causa de un desplome de la torre de Siloé. Estos hechos introducidos mediante el recurso literario del rumor permiten a Jesús hacer un fuerte cuestionamiento a toda idea que vincule la muerte trágica con una posible culpa de los afectados. Por el contrario, Jesús hace una llamada a la conversión y a atender a los hechos como un cuestionamiento e invitación a un cambio profundo expresado en la imagen parabólica de dar frutos. Por tanto, el relato está intrínsecamente articulado con la parábola de la higuera estéril, que Lucas narra a continuación. | es-ES |
