Christian mystical poetry owes the original interpretation of the Song of Songs the confguration of some of some of its most enduring and representative fgures such as the wound of love, spiritual senses, and the nuptial union. Directly or indirectly, its powerful influence radiates on later patristic theology, monastic theology, and the mystical Spanish literature of the Golden Age. Our purpose is to present the original background teresa of Avila’s work, from the analysis of the wound and weddings, to consider the identity of Jesus from the perspective of poetic-mystical language.La poesía mística cristiana le debe a la interpretación origenista del Cantar de los Cantares la configuración de algunas de sus figuras más perdurables y Representativas como la herida de amor, los sentidos espirituales y la unión nupcial. Directa o indirectamente su poderoso influjo irradia sobre la teología patrística posterior, la teología monástica y la literatura mística española de los Siglos de Oro. Nuestro propósito es presentar el trasfondo origenista en la obra de Teresa de Ávila a partir del análisis de los tópicos de la herida y de las bodas, a fin de considerar la identidad de Jesús desde la perspectiva del lenguaje poético-místico.
