The Religous is still alive, but what about religion?
Lo religioso aún vive, pero ¿qué pasa con la Religión?.

| dc.description | Religions are going through a deep crisis today. It is not only that they have a “bad press”, but the religious institutions are suffering –due to their own mistakes and their negligence- the abandon and suspicion of their followers. Religious institutions are going down, but not the religious. New ways to live the religious are being born in our time. On one hand, the religious has being configured as a personal option. It no longer depends on what the group or the society believes in. On the other hand, what people believe in is everyday more flexible; people can integrate, in some kind of syncretism, different traditions, even when sometimes they can be contradictories. Religious gets individualized in our time, but it also goes out into the public space to keep communicating. We’ll have to wait to see what developments can bring. | en-US |
| dc.description | Las religiones hoy en día están pasando por una profunda crisis. No es tan solo que tengan “mala prensa”, sino que las instituciones religiosas están viviendo –en parte debido a sus propios errores y su negligencia- el abandono y desconfianza de sus seguidores. Pero si las instituciones religiosas decrecen, no sucede lo mismo con lo religioso. Nuevas maneras de vivir lo religioso, lo divino, se van configurando en nuestro tiempo. Por una parte, lo religioso se ha configurado como una opción personal. Ya no se depende tanto del grupo, de la sociedad para creer en una tradición. Por otro lado, aquello en que se cree, el contenido de la fe, se ha vuelto cada vez más flexible, siendo capaz de integrar muy distintas tradiciones, aún a costa de que sean contradictorias. En nuestro tiempo lo religioso se individualiza, pero vuelve a salir al espacio público para seguir comunicando. Tendremos que esperar para ver qué novedades puede traer. | es-ES |
