| dc.description | This article reflects about the theological meaning of freedom in the Pastoral Constitution Gaudium et Spes, of Vatican II. In the introduction the document talks about the importance of freedom as a theological topic, and also defends the authority of GS in order to study it. The introduction also indicates the method followed in the study. The first chapter takes the fundamental question about who is the subject of freedom. It also emphasizes the historic and notional tension between the freedom of God and the human being. The second chapter develops the value of freedom and the concept of itself in GS, following the classic scheme of freedom of and freedom for. The third and fnal chapter proposes theology of liberty, which places liberty into the theological horizons proposed by GS. | dc.description | Este artículo aborda el significado teológico de la libertad en la Constitución Pastoral Gaudium et Spes del Concilio Vaticano II, en la introducción da cuenta de la pertinencia del tema de la libertad como tópico teológico y de la autoridad de la GS como fuente de estudio, además de indicar las presupuestos metodológicos seguidos. En el primer capítulo toca la cuestión fundamental del sujeto de la Libertad, enfatizando la tensión tanto histórica como nocional que supone adjudicar la característica de libre tanto al hombre como a Dios y la presentación de esto en la GS. En el segundo Capítulo desarrolla la Valoración de la libertad y el concepto de la misma en la GS, siguiendo el ya clásico esquema de libertad de y libertad para. El tercer y último capítulo propone una teología de la libertad, que sitúa la libertad en horizontes teológicos propuestos por la GS.
